Customized Team Development

Customized team development for departments and different work groups is available through the Center for University Learning. Through team building activities, specialized training, group facilitation, and consulting services, customized team development can help teams in a variety of ways:

• Improve productivity
• Establish mission, goals, and action steps
• Address behaviors and dynamics that may be pulling the group off-track
• Clarify the roles and strengths of each group member
• Build new skills
• Refine communication skills
• Enhance cooperative working relationships
• Implement new procedures or change
  

Customized training activities can come in many forms: Assessments, Existing Courses, Operational Process Improvement, Retreat Planning and Facilitation, Specialized Skill Development, Strategic Planning, and Team Building.


All customized training facilitators are considered experts in their field.

Whether professional trainers, college and university faculty, masters in technology or administrative personnel, all customized training facilitators are considered experts in their field.

Is there a fee involved?
Most of the time there will be no fees charged; however, any time food, travel or lodging is involved, the department is responsible.

How does it work?
To start the process, all you have to do is contact the Learning Center with your request. Based on your needs, a plan of action will be agreed upon and a timeline will be determined. (x3450)
