Linda’s role is to coordinate and manage professional development and enrichment programs for faculty and staff. She is also involved in the development and delivery of training workshops along with serving on many campus initiatives and committees. In 2006, Linda was appointed by KSU’s President as Kennesaw’s Customer Service Champion. In this role, Linda represents KSU on a state-wide committee that reviews and implements effective customer service training programs to all state employees in Georgia. Out of the 35 Georgia state institutions of higher learning participating in this initiative, Linda was the one who was acknowledged and awarded the “Outstanding Customer Service Leadership” award in 2007 and 2008 by the University System of Georgia’s Chancellor. |
In January 2008 she was also awarded the Governor’s Excellence in Customer Service award. Under her leadership, Kennesaw State University also received the “Outstanding Customer Service Institution of the Year” award in 2007 and in 2008 from the Georgia Board of Regents and was given this same honor by the Governor’s Office on Customer Service in January 2008. Because of these achievements, Linda, along with other esteemed African American KSU colleagues, was selected to be in a group photo for the 2008 and 2009 Who’s Who in Black Atlanta publication.
Linda’s education consists of a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Development from Georgia State University. She also holds various professional certifications such as a Team Dynamics Certification from High Performing Systems Inc., site licensing trainer from the True Colors Communication Group, has extensive training in mediation and conflict management as well as being a Georgia Peace Officers Standards and Training Council Certification that specializes in Customer Service. Linda is currently working on an Organization Development Certification through Linkage Inc. and DePaul University. She is and/or has been associated with such organizations as American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), Southeastern Association of Facilitators (SEAF), Academy of Human Resource Development, the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources, and Toastmasters International. She has also collaborated with educators during a visit to Ghana, Africa as well as conducted workshops for Ghanaian students here in the states.
She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and is very active in her church serving on committees and executive boards. A native Washingtonian, Linda now resides in the Atlanta Georgia area. |

Paula joined the team in April, 2009 as Senior Training Specialist. In this role Paula will be responsible for delivering the ongoing training initiatives provided by the Center for University Learning. She will work collaboratively with the ITS department to upgrade the Element K Learning Management System (LMS) and evaluate future LMS online options for the University. Additionally, Paula will work with the University to develop customized training as required. Paula joins the University with over 15 years experience in Information Systems, Project Management, Change Management, and Training Design and Delivery.

Most recently she designed instructor-led and web-based training for Ariba. She has a passion for training systems design and delivery and has provided independent training services for the Atlanta Public School district, Spelman College and the University of Phoenix- Atlanta campus.
Paula graduated from Southern Illinois University –Edwardsville with a Masters Degree in Business Administration and from the University of Missouri- Rolla with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science. She also received a certificate in Instructional Design and Technology from the University of Georgia. Paula is a Cobb County resident and a graduate of the 2006 Leadership Cobb class. |

Maxayn joined the University staff in 2000 as an Administrative Assistant in the Department of University Studies. She completed her Bachelors Degree in Organizational Communication at Kennesaw State University in Spring 2003 and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Information Design and Communication at Southern Polytechnic State University. In August of 2004, Maxayn accepted the brand new position of Project Coordinator in the Center for University Learning. Maxayn brings her creative flair, graphic expertise and a warm smile to the Center for University Learning. |

Anita is the center’s newest member joining the staff in July of 2005. She joined the KSU staff in August of 2003 as a Record Coordinator II in the Office of Financial Aid. Prior to accepting a job at Kennesaw State University, Anita was an employee for seventeen years at Lucent Technologies, formerly known as AT&T Network Systems. Her vast work experience has enabled her to sharpen and develop ample secretarial skills. Anita has also successfully completed an array of training courses that have supplied her with exceptional administrative skills and advanced computer proficiency. |
