The library has a number of laptop PCs available for checkout. These laptops are equipped with Microsoft Office and can use the library printers. They are also connected to the campus wireless network and can be used for WebCT, general internet (email, web surfing, and so on). They will not connect to the "P" drive or specialty software programs installed in the computer labs, such as FishFarm.

To check out a laptop go to the circulation desk. You must present your valid KSU student ID. There are no exceptions to this rule. Only students can check out laptops, not faculty or staff.

Checkout time is for three hours and can be renewed twice, except in cases of high demand. The laptops can only be used in the library. Taking a laptop out through the library security gates will result in campus police being notified.
