GALILEO Databases
GALILEO
The Horace W. Sturgis Library subscribes to a statewide collection of electronic databases called GALILEO, an acronym that stands for GeorgiA LIbrary LEarning Online. GALILEO is an initiative of the University System of Georgia and is funded by the Governor and General Assembly of Georgia. Through GALILEO, the KSU community can access over 100 databases indexing thousands of periodicals and scholarly journals. Over 2000 journal titles are provided in full-text. Other resources include encyclopedias, business directories, and government publications. GALILEO will help find:
* Articles
* Citations
* Documents and images on Georgia history
* Information of all kinds
* Recommended websites
To access GALILEO, use any computer on campus. In order to access GALILEO from a computer off campus, members of the KSU community must use the KSU password or gain access with Net ID through the library's proxy server. This password can be obtained at the library Reference Desk or online at http://www.kennesaw.edu/library as it changes each semester. To learn more about this vast reference tool, click on GALILEO.
