Arriving
at Kennesaw State University in 1975, Joseph Meeks has taught classes
in Music Theory, Music Appreciation, Piano Literature and Pedagogy.
He was appointed Chair of the Music Department in 1994. He was appointed
Dean of the College of the Arts in 1996.

Abbey Awards, Coca Cola Lifetime Achievement Award for Arts Leadership,
