Music
Scholarships
In
addition to the regular
scholarship programs available to all Kennesaw State University
students and the financial aid programs administered by the Financial
Aid office, the Department of Music awards many music merit scholarships.
All scholarships are awarded annually. Scholarships
are awarded on the basis of superior performance, artistic potential,
and academic qualifications. In order to continue in the scholarship
program throughout the year, the student must maintain full-time status,
a grade point average of 3.0 in music, continued appropriate enrollment
in the principal applied area, continued participation in the major
ensemble appropriate to the principal applied area, and satisfactory
progress in the applied area as well as in the degree program.
