Bobby Asher
Manager, Bailey Performance Center

A trained musician, Bobby Asher previously worked at the nationally revered Spivey Hall at Clayton State University, where he served most recently as assistant manager. Bobby's rise through the ranks at Spivey included duties in front-of-house management, artistic planning and administration, event coordination, and work with patron development.

Prior to his arrival in Atlanta, Bobby served as logistics coordinator of the Columbia Theatre as Southeastern Louisiana State University. His story about life in the Columbia Theatre during Hurricane Katrina is a powerful testament to the healing ability of the arts in times of upheaval. His experience as jazz lab manager at Northeastern State University in his native Oklahoma provided the initial impetus for his career in arts administration.
