David Daly


Director, Bailey Performance Center

 

David Daly is an arts professional with a strong background in concert production, logistics, and event coordination. Daly joined the staff of the Bailey Performance Center at Kennesaw State University in August 2008. Daly became the director of Bailey Center in October 2010. He previously worked at the Eastern Music Festival and the Atlanta and Boston Symphony Orchestras. His career has focused primarily on areas of orchestral operations and artistic administration, and he has worked with some of the nation’s most renowned artists and ensembles. Daly has managed orchestra tours throughout the Southeastern U.S., New England, and Florida, including concerts at major national venues and both the Ojai (California) and Ravinia Music Festivals. He has been involved in the production of numerous concert performances, featuring classical artists as well as performers from popular genres. 

 

As a venue manager, Daly has coordinated a wide range of events including meetings and conferences, theatrical and dance productions, corporate kickoff events and award ceremonies.  He is a member of the League of American Orchestras, and has served as a peer reviewer for the Georgia Council for the Arts. Daly received a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from the University of Georgia, and remains active as a performer in the Atlanta area.
