Jennifer Marotta

Artist-in-Residence in Trumpet

 

Jennifer Marotta joined the faculty at Kennesaw State University in 2006. Ms. Marotta began her career as a trumpet/cornet player with the "President's Own" United States Marine Band in 2001. Prior to the Marine Band, she earned her bachelor's degree from Northwestern University and her master's degree from DePaul University. Her primary teachers have included Barbara Butler and John Hagstrom. Jennifer has also performed with the Chicago Civic Orchestra, New World Symphony, Indianapolis Symphony, Chicago Music of the Baroque, and the Grand Teton's Music Festival. Prior to joining the faculty of Kennesaw State University, she taught trumpet at Illinois State University as a visiting trumpet professor.
