Mary Bice
Administrative Associate II

Mary Bice has been administrative secretary in the music department since 1998. Mary attended State University of Iowa and has a BA in Studio Art from Corpus Christi State University in Texas. She also has a one-year certificate from Hartford Seminary in women’s studies. Past work experience includes: art teacher, church administrator/secretary, and many secretarial positions including several on college campuses. “I love working in any academic setting. Being around people who are learning and growing is a dynamic experience, whatever their age. I especially appreciate study in the arts. I consider it among the highest of aspirations.”

Originally from Iowa, Mary came to Georgia after much moving around. She and her husband, Dave, are now “home” in Kennesaw. They have two grown children and five wonderful grandchildren.

In her own time, Mary enjoys family, home and garden, painting, art museums, crossword puzzles, and antiquing. Favorite reading is feminist theology, spirituality, and mysteries. Future goals include visits to Yellowstone and Yosemite National Parks and Germany
