KSU's production of "The Merry Wives of Windsor"

Opera Theatre
Opera Theatre at KSU is an enriching program geared toward the vocal major wishing to pursue a career in singing. Each year, a fully staged production, accompanied by the KSU Orchestra is given.  Recent past productions have included Donizetti’s The Elixir of Love, Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Yeomen of the Guard, and Nicolai’s The Merry Wives of Windsor. Additionally, the Opera Theatre produces the annual “Opera Gala,” a production of operatic arias, ensembles and choruses from the world’s best-loved operas. Theatre techniques, research into topic background, and character development enrich the approach to the study of opera.
