Opera Workshop
Theatre technique and games, eurhythmic exercises, vocal stretches, research into topic background and character development enrich the approach to the study of opera. Students perform in programs of scenes, most recently including excerpts from Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro, The Magic Flute, and Cosi fan tutte, as well as Bizet’s Carmen, John Gay’s The Beggar’s Opera, and Gilbert and Sullivan’s Mikado and Pirates of Penzance.
