| Curriculum:
Program Director, Dr. Samuel Abaidoo, Kennesaw State University,
will offer “Social Change In West Africa.”
In addition, a variety of classes will be offered by
Cape Coast faculty including:
- World Literacy Service Learning
- Elements of Tropical Marine Biology
- West African Political Economy
- Themes in the African Novel
- Music in African Cultures
- Introduction to African Traditional Religion, and
- Fante Proficiency.
The language of instruction for all courses except Fante
Proficiency is English. Credit for coursework taught by
Cape Coast faculty will be transferred from UCC directly
to the students home institution.
All Students are required to take the Social Change In
West Africa course.

- Kakum National Rainforest Park
- Cape Coast and Elmina Castles
- Accra (the national capital), Kumasi (the Asante capital)
- Bonwire (Kente Cloth weaving village)
- Fishing and cocoa villages
Housing: Students live in homestays on the
UCC campus. |
