When
should you contact the Ombuds?
The
services of the ombuds are available to all members of the
KSU community: students, faculty, and staff. Whether it is
your first step or your last resort, you should contact the
ombuds when regular channels have failed to bring resolution
to your problem or when you are not certain what step to take
next.
The
ombuds can help when you...
- need
assistance in communicating or negotiating within the
university community;
- feel
a policy, procedure, or regulation has been applied unfairly
or erroneously to you;
- have
a complaint about an office or service at Kennesaw State
University that you are unable to get resolved;
- want
to discuss a sensitive issue in confidence;
- are
unsure of where to go or what options are open to you.
