The K.S.U. Grounds Department handles many jobs on the campus.

The mowing Crew takes care of anything related to grass cutting, trimming, fertilization and weed control in the large grassy areas of campus.

The landscape bed maintenance crew handles the pruning, fertilization, weed and pest control and further clean up of the beautifully landsaped shrub and tree beds.

The landscaping crew does the planting of new shrubs and trees and does most of the mulching on campus.

There is also a two man trash crew that spends it's day collecting trash and debris.

The weekend crew works Saturdays and Sundays to complete special grounds related projects.

The final element of the K.S.U. Grounds Department is the part time irrigation specialist whose job it is to keep our campus looking green and healthy .

Together, these crews work hard to make the K.S.U. campus a feast for the eyes and an enjoyable place to attend classes.
