Description of the International Affairs Minor

The minor is designed to provide you, the undergraduate student, with a basic framework for understanding international affairs without pursuing the more comprehensive international affairs major. The courses in the minor reflect an area studies emphasis and focus on various world regions including Africa, Asia, Latin America, Europe and the Middle East. The minor includes courses basic to understanding the global arena and also enables you to select more country specific courses. As an international affairs minor you are also encouraged to pursue study abroad opportunities.
