Ansley Wood M.S.C.M.,
MSCM Administrative Director

Ansley M. Wood, MSCM Administrative Director, joined the MSCM staff in 2012. She graduated with honors from Kennesaw State University, having studied Political Science and Human Services. She earned her Master of Science degree in Conflict Management from Kennesaw State University, with honors.

Wood’s primary interests in the field of Conflict Management include: previously working in the Emergency Department at Dekalb Medical Center as well as teaching for Kennesaw State University's First Year program. While working for Dekalb Medical she was instrumental in teaching Conflict Management to the nurses as well as resolving disputes between staff memebers and patients.

She is also trained in Civil Mediation, and has worked in both private and court connected mediation programs.

She and her husband, Jordan, are avid "foodies" and enjoy traveling.

Janet McGovern,
Administrative Assistant

Janet McGovern joined KSU in 2007 and began working for Conflict Management in October 2010 as an Administrative Assistant. She earned an Associate in Arts degree at Moberly Area Community College and is currently enrolled as a KSU student seeking a degree in Exercise and Health.

She and her family moved to Georgia 4 years ago when her husband, Bryan, accepted a teaching position at KSU in the History and Philosophy Department.

Janet and Bryan live in Canton with two sons, Brennon and Padraig, and two Siberian Huskies, Sasha and Keno. They enjoy traveling, bowling, hiking, watching movies, and many other activities.
