Federal Financial Aid is available to all US citizens and international students holding a green card. We recommend that all eligible students complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) when applying for the program and again in Spring semester. Most graduate students are eligible for federal subsidized or unsubsidized Stafford loans and for Graduate Plus loans. Please note that federal financial aid is only disbursed fall and spring semesters. For more information please contac the Office of Student Financial Aid.

Scholarships
A scholarship is money provided to a student to pay educational expenses that does not need to be repaid. Scholarships are available from a variety of sources including corporations, federal and state agencies, and private or charitable organizations. Scholarships are granted based on the applicant's ability to meet a series of requirements, such as a particular grade point average or affiliation with a specific organization. Because of this, the scholarship search is a highly individual endeavor. The scholarship list provided on this website is just a starting point.

Graduate Research Assistants
The MSCM program has 2 graduate research assistant (GRA) positions available during Fall and Spring semesters. GRAs receive a reduced tuition rate and a monthly stipend. Each GRA positiona lasts one semester. GRA positions may also be available in other campus departments.
