| International Student Orientation |
| All international students with an F-1 visa who are attending Kennesaw State University for the first time are required to participate in an international student orientation. The international student orientation will help you stay in status and remain eligible for Optional Practical Training (OPT) when you graduate, if that is your desire. It will also give you information that will assist you in adjusting to KSU and excelling academically. The orientation will include information about visas and the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) which tracks international students and shares the data with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Also included will be information on registering with Social Security, filing income taxes, and obtaining a Georgia driver's license. You will also find out about employment on campus and academic support services available to you.
