The Bagwell College of Education at Kennesaw State University is enthusiastic about its participation in the Partnership for Reform In Science and Mathematics Education (PRISM) grant. Our teacher preparation programs fully embrace the five features of the National Science Foundation grants for the Mathematics and Science Partnership (MSP) program for FY 2004 - FY 2008. This website is designed to help strengthen our collaboration with our partner school network; enhance our commitment to teacher quality, quantity, and diversity; provide challenges for P - 12 students in PRISM schools to complete rigorous courses and curriculum; contribute to evidence - based outcomes; and create and sustain change in PRISM core partner schools. The resources on this website primarily include teacher designed (1) opportunities for math and science educators, teachers, and students to exchange ideas in real time and asynchronously and (2) web quests, lesson plans, and problem based group projects focused on addressing the new Georgia Performance Standards in Math and Science pre-k through fifth grade.
