Psychology Lab

Need help with writing a paper? Kennesaw State University's Psychology Department has a dedicated lab that is designed to provide support to students. The psychology lab is located in room 4026 of the NEW Social Sciences building. Ten computers, equipped with CD/DVD, zip drive, Microsoft Office XP, SPSS, and Internet access are available for use by psychology majors. Printing is available with the OwlPrint card. The lab also contains psychology books, reference materials and various resources for use in the lab.

The lab coordinator is available in the lab each day during the posted hours. The coordinator can answer any general questions regarding MS Word, Excel, Power Point, SPSS,  APA format, research reports, and research proposals.

Students can make appointments to have a draft of their research paper reviewed. The lab staff will provide feedback on APA style, overall content and clarity of papers. Please note that the lab gets very busy during peak times of the semester, so please try not to wait until the last minute.

Drafts may be left for review in the lab or with the Psychology Department secretaries. Two full days are required in order to fully review and return papers.
