Psychology Lab
Need help with writing a paper? Kennesaw State University's Psychology Department has a dedicated lab that is designed to provide support to students. The psychology lab is located in room 4026 of the NEW Social Sciences building. Ten computers, equipped with CD/DVD, zip drive, Microsoft Office XP, SPSS, and Internet access are available for use by psychology majors. Printing is available with student IDs or a K-Cash card. The lab also contains psychology books, reference materials, and various resources for use in the lab.

The lab coordinator is available during the hours posted on the calendar in front of the lab. The coordinator can answer any general questions regarding MS Word, Excel, Power Point, SPSS, APA format, research reports, and research proposals.

Papers will be reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis. The lab staff will provide feedback on APA style and clarity of papers. Please note that the lab gets very busy during peak times of the semester, so please try not to wait until the last minute. Two full days are required in order to fully review and return papers. The complete set of lab guidelines are available at the following link:

Lab Guidelines

Hard copies of drafts may be left for review in the lab or with the Psychology Department secretaries. You may review APA Style Guidelines as you are creating your draft. Electronic copies may be submitted via email directly to the Lab Coordinator
