COMPLETE WITHDRAWAL FROM ALL COURSES
REFUND INFORMATION

Students completely withdrawing from school on or before August 21, 2007 at 11:45pm (by web registration) are entitled to a 100% refund. After that date students will be granted a percentage refund of tuition and fees ONLY IF THEY WITHDRAW COMPLETELY FROM THE UNIVERSITY.

New KSU ONLINE Withdrawal Procedure: To completely or partially withdraw from classes at KSU, a student must withdraw online at www.kennesaw.edu, under Owl Express, Student Services. The date the withdrawal is submitted online will be considered the official KSU withdrawal date which will be used in the calculation of any tuition refund or refund to Federal student aid and/or HOPE scholarship programs. It is advisable to print the final page of the withdrawal for your records. Withdrawals submitted onine prior to midnight on the last day to withdraw without academic penalty will receive a "W" grade. Withdrawals after midnight will receive a "WF". Failure to complete the online withdrawal process will produce no withdrawal from classes. Call the Registrar's Office at 770-423-6200 during business hours if assistance is needed.

KSU INSTITUTIONAL REFUND POLICY: The refund amount for students completely withdrawing from KSU after August 21, 2007 is based on a pro rata percentage determined by dividing the number of completed calendar days in the semester by the total calendar days in the semester. The total calendar days in a semester includes weekends, but excludes breaks of five days or more. The unearned portion shall be refunded up to the point in time that the amount equals 60%.

Students completely withdrawing from KSU after 60% of the semester has been completed are not entitled to a refund of any portion of institutional charges.

Lab, specialized course/major and insurance fees are not refundable, if withdrawn from after August 21, 2007 at 11:45pm.

All refunds approved by the Bursar's Office will be distributed by HigherOne, our partner bank, six to eight weeks into the semester and in the media preference selected by the student during activation of the KSU Debit card.

WITHDRAWING FROM A COURSE(S) BUT NOT COMPLETELY WITHDRAWING FROM SCHOOL

After August 21, 2007 at 11:45pm there is NO refund for withdrawing from a course(s), which would still leave you enrolled as a KSU student. You must completely withdraw from ALL classes for the semester in order to receive a refund. (University System of Georgia Policy). See the above Withdrawal Procedure to withdraw from a course(s).

Kennesaw State University reserves the right to change its fees, charges, rules and regulations at the beginning of any semester and without prior notice. This right will be exercised cautiously.
