ACCESSING BANNER WEB

  • Go to the main Kennesaw State University webpage (http://www.kennesaw.edu)

  • Click on the "Owl Express" link at the bottom/left of the page.

  • Enter your KSU# in the User ID block and your 6-digit PIN number in the PIN block then click the "Login" button. The KSU# is found on your KSU ID card or may be looked up online by clicking on the "click here" link on the login page, the PIN starts out as your 6-digit birth date (MMDDYY). In order to access the system, we must have a Buckley form on file. This is needed to create your account and once completed; it never has to be completed again. If you have previously accessed Banner Web, you may have been prompted to change your PIN. If you do not remember that PIN, you may enter your ID number in the ID block then click on the "Forgot PIN" button.

  • If prompted to enter a security question and response, please do so. This should be a one-time prompt.

  • You may be prompted to change your PIN the first time that you login. It must be a 6-digit number.

  • Select (click) FACULTY SERVICES.

  • Select (click) FINAL GRADES.

  • After making sure the correct term is in the drop down menu, select (click) on SUBMIT TERM.

  • All of the section that has been assigned to you as the primary faculty member will be in the drop down menu. Select the CRN that you want to enter the final grades and select (click) SUBMIT CRN.

  • Start entering grades for each student on the list. You may use the pull down menu or you may enter a grade, hit TAB and this will take you to the next student.

  • At the end of the page, select (click) SUBMIT GRADES. You must SUBMIT GRADES at the end of each page.

  • Reminders:
    1. Please click the Submit Grades button often; there is a 30 minute time limit on this screen for security purposes.
    2. Please note that only 50 students at a time display on the screen; to access the additional students in the course, choose the appropriate record grouping at the top or bottom of the screen
    3. During the time period when the system is available, you may change/enter grades as frequently as you like. However, once a grade has been submitted, it is immediately available for viewing online.

  • Be sure to log off the system when you have finished entering your grades by selecting (clicking) on the EXIT button.
