PIN CHANGES
Each student who enrolls at KSU is assigned a PIN (Personal Identification Number), which is their date of birth (MMDDYY). This number is used in conjunction with the KSU # for the student to enter all on-line student applications. These applications are accessed through the Owl Epress (button on the menu at left), also referred to as Owl Epress. Through Owl Express, students may change their PIN number and we encourage students to do so; however, in doing so, we ask that you please select a number which will be easy for you to remember. We also strongly suggest that you NOT share this information with anyone. If after changing your PIN you forget what you changed it to, the only way to secure your PIN will be to come in person to the Office of the Registrar and show picture identification. Any questions regarding your PIN may be addressed to the Office of the Registrar at the phone number listed above or through the e-mail link provided at the bottom of this page.

POLICIES - REGENTS' AND INSTITUTIONAL
Our policies are within the Board of Regents' guidelines. Any policy enforced by the Office of the Registrar is first approved by various groups on campus. Please call the Registrar to clarify any polices or to discuss possible exceptions. It is usually not the prerogative of the Registrar to break a policy.

Procedures such as registration, graduation, etc. also are discussed in great length before changes are made. Often the Office of the Registrar is viewed as the control point for campus wide changes. Although this office must enforce such changes, students regard the Office of the Registrar as the sole source for actually making any changes. Students should understand that policies and procedures change through equal representation from every School/Department on campus.

REFUND POLICY
Full refunds are only given for classes dropped during registration periods. After Final Registration, percentages of refunds are given only if the student withdraws from all classes for the term. Students are encouraged to read the class schedule. Our refund policy is a Board of Regents' Policy. It usually takes 6 weeks for the Bursar's Office to issue a refund.

REGISTRATION

For those not eligible for Priority Registration, a Final Registration is held before the start of the term. After each registration period, fees must be paid to avoid cancellation of classes. Late registration Drop/Add follows Final Registration and is available for all eligible students. Please refer to the schedule of credit courses for specific instructions and dates. Students who have been dismissed must remain out-of-school as indicated by the dismissal policy.
