Public Programs

In April 1998 the Center opened with a daylong program on North Georgia history, with well-known Southern Culture historian, Dr. James Cobb, delivering the keynote address.  Since then, the Center has held a number of public conferences including annual Jewish Life in the South and New Scholarship on the Civil War symposia.
