Individual bedrooms set us apart from the typical "shared bedroom" layout of most colleges and universities. Each unit also comes with a small common area, including counter space and a mini-fridge, as well as a microwave. Community kitchens are located throughout the University Village Suites, as are community laundry rooms. High-speed internet access is included for all residents, as well as cable.

All rental fees above are per installment for a 12-installment plan, paid monthly August-July, and due by the 5th calendar day of each month.   Included in the rental fee are all utilities (electric, water, sewer), cable television, and high-speed internet at no additional charge. There is a utility cap for each unit, and overages beyond the utility cap are charged quarterly. Utility overages are charged at KSU Place and University Place only.

Apply for Housing

All of the housing options at Kennesaw State University offer private bedrooms. You can get fully furnished apartments with a full-size bed, dresser, hide-away storage bins below the bed (available in select units) and built-in desk with bookshelves.   Our residence halls include three apartment communities, and one suite-style community.  KSU Place, University Village, and the University Village Suites sit on the north side of campus.  University Place sits on the south side of campus.  See the rates table above!

Renter's Insurance

While all landlord and property owners carry insurance on their properties, these policies cover the landlord's property and possessions - not yours. To protect yourself in the event of fire, flood, or theft, you should obtain a renters insurance policy from a reputable insurance company. These policies cover your belongings and are relatively inexpensive. More information is available at the Web Resources page.

Dining on Campus

The Kennesaw State University cafeteria offers many exciting food options, and is located in the Student Center. In addition, Hemingwayz restaurant is located inside Building 6000 at the University Village, offering affordable lunch and dinner options for our residential students. Jittery Joe's Coffehouse is located in University Village Suites. There are alse several restaurants located around campus, including Einstein's Bagel in the Burruss Building and Jazzman's Cafe at the Social Sciences Building, as well as a BOOMING number of restaurants located on Chastain Road less then a 1/2 mile from campus. In the Fall of 2009, Kennesaw State University will open their new dining hall on Frey Road, which will service the entire campus.

Financial Aid

The mission of the Office of Student Financial Aid is to support the University's student success, enrollment, and retention goals by providing state, institutional, and federal student aid funds to eligible students. Services to students will be provided in a fair, sensitive, and confidential manner by a well trained and caring staff.

A violation of the Student Code of Conduct or the Residential Code of Conduct could result in your dismissal from housing. As with academic dismissals, dismissals from housing related to disciplinary action do not automatically release you from your contractual obligation with Place Properties. You will still have to fulfill your lease.

Student Life

The Kennesaw State University Student Life Center brings you services, resources, activities and events from the nonacademic side of college life. We like to thing of ourselves as a classroom - without walls. Use the menu to the left for information and links to the many things we provide - we hope your KSU experience will be richer because of us.
