Here are a few tips to help you enjoy a successful on-campus living/learning experience:

• Be neighborly
• Treat others as you want to be treated AND as they want to be treated
• Get to know your roommates and neighbors
• Communicate openly and directly – if your roommate or neighbor does something that bothers you TALK TO THEM!
• Follow the rules
• Use common sense and pay attention
• Lock your unit door and use the peephole
• Keep records accurate – update e-mail, phone, etc. in Owl Express & Webroomz/AMS
• Attend all mandatory meetings
• Participate in programs and activities
• Get enough sleep, eat healthy and exercise
• Manage your time and money wisely
• Keep your apartment clean
• Keep your guests under control
• Cooperate with staff – they are just doing their jobs!
• Don’t just complain – offer solutions!
• Resolve your own issues when possible, and please don’t have your parents make a phone call that YOU should be making!
