Kennesaw State University Symposium on ASIA-USA Partnership Opportunities (SAUPO)

About the Symposium

Kennesaw State University’s Asian Studies Program announces the 2013 Symposium on ASIA-USA Partnership Opportunities (SAUPO) to be held in Atlanta on April 19, 2013 Friday. SAUPO is the largest Asia Business Conference in Southern USA, for that we received recognition from the White House.

The Planning Committee and the Scientific Committee welcome your suggestions and participation! With the support of our advisors and sponsors worldwide, KSU Asian Studies faculty members strive to make this conference a meeting ground where you are inspired with new ideas and enriched with new connections. We strive to bring ASIA and the world closer to you!

As an interdisciplinary conference SAUPO will present a global platform of five-way dialogue among business leaders, scholars, diplomats, policymakers, and non-profit practitioners. The inaugural 2011 SAUPO conference held on April 8, 2011 Friday at W Atlanta-Midtown was a resounding success with over 300 attendees.

SAUPO 2013 will highlight partnership opportunities between North America and important Asian countries, specifically China, India, Japan and Korea. Attendees will be provided with insight from government officials, scholars, and business and community leaders, who will address critical issues related to the Asia Pacific Region and cross-continent relationship.

Speakers from North American companies with operations in Asia and from Asian companies with operations in North America, Africa and Latin America will be present. Scholars from all over the world with expertise in areas of business, education, information science, healthcare, and humanities will present their latest research findings. Government officials from China, India, Japan, Korea, United States, and Canada will be invited to attend.
