There are need-based and merit scholarships available for both undergraduate and graduate students. Available scholarships are listed under the appropriate college. In addition, also available are general university-wide (all majors) and special criteria scholarships.

Only scholarships that are accompanied by an applications button are currently opened for the 2008-2009 academic year

All other scholarships are closed for applications until the 2009-2010 academic year


The following scholarships are open:

Leitalift Foundation/Clarice Bagwell Scholarship (female, graduate students only)-Deadline September 5, 2008-Located under Bagwell Colege of Education

Project 2400--Located under entering Freshmen will remain open throughout the 2008-2009 academic year

Deadline September 15, 2008:
Betty and Joel Siegel Theatre Scholarship
(entering Freshman only)
-Located under entering Freshmen and College of the Arts

Gus George Maroun EMBA Annual Scholarship--Located under Colles college of Business and Entering Gaduates


All other scholarships are closed for applications until the 2009-2010 academic year

ksuTo apply for need-based scholarships, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ by April 1, 2008 for the following academic school year and list Kennesaw State University as a school on the form.

(Title IV Code: 001577). Need-based scholarships are awarded to applicants with a completed financial aid file. Merit-based scholarships with consideration given to financial need are awarded based upon overall merit after financial need is established.

If applying for a study abroad scholarship (need based only) please apply for FAFSA by February 15, 2008.


The Office of Development will notify students in writing only beginning in May, 2008 if they are selected as a scholarship recipient .
Only successful candidates will be notified.
