 THE NATIVE AMERICAN STUDIES MINOR

 This is an interdisciplinary minor that gives interested students an opportunity to expand their knowledge and understanding of the history and cultural diversity of Native Americans.

 To obtain the Native American Studies Minor you must take these required courses:

ANTH 3321 Indians of North America
ANTH 3315 The Southeastern Indians
ANTH 4421 North American Archaeology

 In addition you must take two of the following courses:

ANTH 3310 Cultural Diversity in the U.S.
ANTH 4400 Directed Study
ANTH 4490 Special Topics
HIST 3315 History of the American West
HIST 3366 History of Mexico and Central America
HIST 4410 Colonial America from Pre-Columbus to 1789
