Student Enrichment

The Division of Student Success and Enrollment Services offers a wide range of opportunities, activities, challenges and support options outside the classroom. Click on the link to visit that site.

Student Life is responsible for all registered student organizations, student media, intramural sports, Greek life, and student programming at KSU. The Department of Student Life is also responsible for the operation of the Information Booth; management of the student activity budgets; maintenance of organization cubicle space and mail folders; and handling reservation requests for student organizations. Student Development assists special student populations through a variety of programs and services. The objective of the department is to meet current needs and enrich and expand offerings in the areas of minority and international student retention services, disabled student support services, adult learner programs and student volunteer service. The Career Services Center helps students and alumni with career-related concerns. Among the services offered are cooperative education and internship opportunities, job opening notices, on-campus recruitment for seniors and alumni, resume referral, and help with resume writing, interviewing and job searching. The KSU Residence Life Program works with students to insure that their residential experience at KSU is a rich and rewarding one. Their office is located in the Student Center, Room 156, phone 770-420-4388. Both ON and OFF campus housing is coordinated through this office. Student Conduct and Academic Integrity (formerly University Judiciary Program). Through a system of campus courts and trained advisors, reported infractions of the University's Student Code of Conduct are considered by Student Conduct and Academic Integrity and appropriate penalties are assessed. Students are invited to apply for membership on the Judiciary Panel. For more information contact the Director for Student Conduct and Academic Integrity. The Center for Student Leadership (CSL). The Center was created to develop strategies, foster academic/ SSES partnerships, and launch programs that work to identify, develop and sustain the leadership of students and graduates of Kennesaw State University. The CSL focuses on providing students resources, training and programs that enhances their leadership skills and abilities. Currently, the CSL sponsors the LINK programs (Emerge, Ascend & Leads), the Presidential Fellow program, the Northwest Crescent Leadership program and the Center for Student Leadership Fellow program. The Center for Student Leadership exists to prepare students to become ethical leaders who are engaged in their campus and larger communities.

Student Activities and Budget Advisory Committee (SABAC) serves as an advisory group to the University administration concerning student activity funds and approves applications for forming new campus organizations. Membership includes representatives of the administration, staff, faculty and students. SABAC is chaired by a student member elected by the committee. Authority for yearly allocations has been delegated by the President of the University to the Vice President for Student Success and Enrollment Services, who acts on the advice of the Student Activities and Budget Advisory Committee.
