As a member of an intra-departmental team since
early in its inception, Motaz Sharkasi has set the standard for the
accomplishment of the primary goal of the team by which all others are
measured. Because of this performance excellence, Motaz has received
numerous accolades over the years from students, staff, and faculty alike.
He has a special knack for working with people that puts them at ease and
helps them to learn. Since learning is the mission of KSU, Motaz has been a
prime example of the furtherance of that mission, and is deserving of
recognition. Fantastic work, Motaz!

The Employee of the Month is supervised and
awarded throughout the year by Staff Awards and Recognition Committee, made
up of members of Staff Senate. Once a month, the nominations that have been
gathered are put to a vote by the committee and the results determine the
Employee of the month for that month (click here for
the online submission form).
The Employee of the Month receives several
awards, including a $100.00 check from the KSU Foundation, a $25.00 check
from the KSU Bookstore, a framed certificate, a banner, and a
parking space of their choice for the entire month.
In addition to the Staff Employee of the
Month, the Staff Awards and Recognition Committee facilitates the voting for
the annual general staff awards which are held annually at the Opening of
School. |
