Department of Economics, Finance, and Quantitative Analysis
Cyndi is the heart and soul of our department.
She is the "go-to" person for all questions and if she does not have an
immediate answer, she searches until she finds one. She keeps us informed of
relevant events and deadlines. She is very patient with students who come to
seek help from the department chair and manages our student assistants very
efficiently. Most of the student assistants are quiet and insecure in their
new positions when they start. By the time they graduate, they are poised
and self-confident and have an exemplary work ethic. Other staff members in
the college look to Cyndi for advice and guidance. Cyndi will do anything to
help make our jobs run more smoothly. Great work, Cyndi!

The Employee of the Month is supervised and
awarded throughout the year by Staff Awards and Recognition Committee, made
up of members of Staff Senate. Once a month, the nominations that have been
gathered are put to a vote by the committee and the results determine the
Employee of the month for that month (click here for
the online submission form).
The Employee of the Month receives several
awards, including a $100.00 check from the KSU Foundation, a $25.00 check
from the KSU Bookstore, a framed certificate, a banner, and a
parking space of their choice for the entire month.
In addition to the Staff Employee of the
Month, the Staff Awards and Recognition Committee facilitates the voting for
the annual general staff awards which are held annually at the Opening of
School. |
