There is no need to worry about something getting done or completed once this staffer gets it in sight. Mansour can be seen all over campus. Always proactive, and always double checking, he ensures that faculty and students have what they need for classes and other learning activities to take place. Whenever asked for help, he never hesitates, no matter what the task at hand may be, and will consistently exceed expectations in its completion. If someone were making rounds through the campus buildings, no doubt they would run into Mansour more than once, as he checks to ensure everything is in proper running order, so that problems can be resolved before anyone is even aware that they have begun. Best of all, Mansour does everything with a smile, never failing to make a person feel at ease while passing along a bit of his positive energy. Everyone who interacts with him immediately holds him in high regard. He makes the workplace a brighter just by showing up every day. Outstanding job, Mansour!

The Employee of the Month is supervised and awarded throughout the year by Staff Awards and Recognition Committee, made up of members of Staff Senate. Once a month, the nominations that have been gathered are put to a vote by the committee and the results determine the Employee of the month for that month (click here for the online submission form).

The Employee of the Month receives several awards, including a $100.00 check from the KSU Foundation, a $25.00 check from the KSU Bookstore, a framed certificate, a banner, and a parking space of their choice for the entire month.

In addition to the Staff Employee of the Month, the Staff Awards and Recognition Committee facilitates the voting for the annual general staff awards which are held annually at the Opening of School.
