Darlene is an asset to our office and by extension, to the entire campus with proven reliability, patience, and exceptional attention to details. This demonstrates years of experience. Throughout 16 years of service, Darlene's amenable personality has allowed for strong relationships to develop with student, staff, professors and other members of the Kennesaw State University community. She also demonstrates the ability to clarify complex details accurately. This is done with consistent proficiency. Darlene is dependable and an example to co-workers, always ready to assist others with a high-priority task, while keeping up with assigned responsibilities. This experienced employee represents Kennesaw State University with professionalism and expert knowledge which adds up to an exemplary employee.. Fantastic work, Darlene!

The Employee of the Month is supervised and awarded throughout the year by Staff Awards and Recognition Committee, made up of members of Staff Senate. Once a month, the nominations that have been gathered are put to a vote by the committee and the results determine the Employee of the month for that month (click here for the online submission form).

The Employee of the Month receives several awards, including a $100.00 check from the KSU Foundation, a $25.00 check from the KSU Bookstore, a framed certificate, a banner, and a parking space of their choice for the entire month.

In addition to the Staff Employee of the Month, the Staff Awards and Recognition Committee facilitates the voting for the annual general staff awards which are held annually at the Opening of School.
