Staff Employee of the Month

Diane is dedicated to providing all KSU employees with the best possible experience. She regularly develops innovative incentive programs to entice faculty and staff to get involved in a regular exercise regimen. In fact she not only hired people to provide new exercise experiences, but she offers a wonderful boot camp experience several days each week. She also volunteers to work individually with faculty and staff to help them design an individualized exercise program. If a faculty member is not able to attend the center during regular hours, she makes arrangements to meet with the person early in the morning or late in the evening. She also offers fun incentives each season to help faculty and staff stay with the program. Each week she continues to find new ways to help us reach our goals. We are very fortunate to have such an enthusiastic and positive colleague. Awesome job, Diane!

The Employee of the Month is supervised and awarded throughout the year by Staff Awards and Recognition Committee, made up of members of Staff Senate. Once a month, the nominations that have been gathered are put to a vote by the committee and the results determine the Employee of the month for that month (click here for the online submission form).

The Employee of the Month receives several awards, including a $100.00 check from the KSU Foundation, a $25.00 check from the KSU Bookstore, a framed certificate, a banner, and a parking space of their choice for the entire month.

In addition to the Staff Employee of the Month, the Staff Awards and Recognition Committee facilitates the voting for the annual general staff awards which are held annually at the Opening of School.
