Patricia Tilbian is extremely hard working and
she exhibits outstanding dedication and commitment to the department and the
specific duties of her position. She works well independently and with
assigned tasks. I came to the department as new faculty and she has been
instrumental in orienting and guiding me as I have transitioned into a new
university and position. Patricia and I have forged a highly collaborative
working relationship. She is always helpful and responsive to my needs, and
I have seen how well she responds to the needs of students and student
workers under her charge. She is stern, but fair. I have also noticed she
becomes vested in the well-being and success of the students and student
workers that she comes into contact with. Often students come by simply to
see Patricia and give an update on their personal and academic lives. Super
job, Patricia!

The Employee of the Month is supervised and
awarded throughout the year by Staff Awards and Recognition Committee, made
up of members of Staff Senate. Once a month, the nominations that have been
gathered are put to a vote by the committee and the results determine the
Employee of the month for that month (click here for
the online submission form).
The Employee of the Month receives several
awards, including a $100.00 check from the KSU Foundation, a $25.00 check
from the KSU Bookstore, a framed certificate, a banner, and a
parking space of their choice for the entire month.
In addition to the Staff Employee of the
Month, the Staff Awards and Recognition Committee facilitates the voting for
the annual general staff awards which are held annually at the Opening of
School. |
