When I was transferred to David Van Hook on the phone because the original person I spoke with could not help me, he stopped what he was doing to figure out how to fix the problem. David walked through the new software with me after I explained that I had followed the very helpful "How-To" sheet, but it was still not working. David found that the reason it was not working was due to the need for more data entry on his part. He immediately added the needed information while I was on the phone and waited for me to go through the software again to make sure it was working properly now. David was extremely professional, patient, and courteous. I received automated replies from the new software, and they looked the same. I was concerned the software was still not functioning properly and called him back. He was not upset that I called again and took the time to listen to my concern and, when I was finished, explained what the differences were and that my concern was okay. David also went above and beyond to tell me what in the automated e-mails was significant to save and pay attention to when I received them. It is nice to encounter a new person on campus that you have to interact with who is patient and cares about what he is doing and how it affects the campus community. Great work, David!
