The Department of Student Development offers a variety of academic support services.

Academic Tutoring Services

With over 28 courses taught, academic tutoring is offered in the Lifelong Learning Center and available to all registered KSU students. Students receive a 50 minute appointment with a tutor. We provide appointments

CARC: Resource Library, Academic Support, and Conference Space

The CARC services include a full service ITC computer lab, appointment and walk-in tutorial services in math
and writing support at no charge to faculty, staff and registered KSU students. Our tangible resources include a collections of over 300 books, over 100 DVDs, VHS and audio tapes, magazines and other minority specific information. These resources are audio and visual resources that can be checked out at any time for class assignments, instruction or personal use. Global Village: Resource Library and ITS Lab

The Village contains study spaces and lab computers for student use as well as displays representing the many countries and cultures of international students.There is also a lending library in the Global Village that houses
all kinds of educational movies from around the globe, magazines that will teach and inform, and books for studying tests such as the GRE, LSAT, ACT, etc. Read on...

GLBTIQ Resource Center and Library

With nearly 300 books in our collection, the GLBTIQ Resource Center's library covers a variety of topics and identities within the GLBTIQ community. A sampling of categories include: GLBTIQ Studies, Trans* Topics,
Gay Male Fiction, Lesbian Autobiographies, GLBTIQ Global Perspectives, Marriage Equality and Two-Spirit.
