Dear New Non-Traditional Student:
Welcome to Kennesaw State University! If you are apprehensive about entry or re-entry into the rigors of college life, Adult Learner Programs can help. We offer an inviting environment, innovative programming and services to help the non-traditional student succeed in college.
Our goal is to assist students juggling a combination of employment, school and family responsibilities. Individual appointments and walk-ins are offered to prospective students as well as current and transfer students. Adult Learner Programs includes staff members who act as liaisons or advocates for the student to navigate and succeed in the academic environment.
Adult Learner Programs is housed in the Lifelong Learning Center (LLC) in Room 261 of the Carmichael Student Center. This facility serves as a multipurpose resource center for adult learners offering both hospitality and academic support. The center is open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday during the Fall and Spring semesters. Summer hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
The staff of Adult Learner Programs and the Lifelong Learning Center are pleased that you have chosen Kennesaw State University, and we look forward to serving you.
Sincerely,
R. Todd Powell
