What is it like to be an Adult Learner Programs assistant in the Lifelong Learning Center?

Student Assistants are hired to work in the Lifelong Learning Center (LLC) to fill various duties. These duties include tutoring, designing flyers for events, making telephone calls, and researching on websites. The students have many different jobs and responsibilities within the center. They learn about delivering quality customer service; meeting deadlines; media use; generating publicity; working with other cultures, adult learners, and non-traditional students; and working while going to school.

We believe the experience of being at the LLC will create a positive impact in their futures. While the students invest their time in working in the LLC, Adult Learner Programs invests in working with the assistants to make a difference as they graduate from college.
