What is it like to be an Adult Learner Programs assistant in the Lifelong Learning Center?

Student Assistants are hired to work in the Lifelong Learning Center (LLC) to fill various duties from tutoring to designing flyers for events to making telephone calls and researching on websites. The students have many different jobs within the center. They learn about customer service, meeting completion dates, media use, working with other cultures and non-traditional students, publicity, and working while going to school. The experience of being at the LLC will make a difference in their futures. While the students invest their time in working in the LLC, Adult Learner Programs invests working with the assistants to make a difference as they graduate from college.
