5th Annual Homelessness Awareness Week
Homelessness Awareness Week (HAW) at KSU provides an opportunity to learn more about this “invisible” sector in society. The activities, including a conference and a 42-hour on-campus Sleep-Out, can increase our knowledge and understanding of living without reliable shelter and food, and sometimes living without hope. Campus partners in this initiative include Adult Learner Programs, Center for Student Leadership, Student Life, and KSU Department of Public Safety. Faculty, staff, and student groups are invited to develop programs and activities in support of this event. Community partners include approximately 20 non-profit agencies.
