Betty Zola Murdock Scholarship Fund
for Single Mothers
The Betty Zola Murdock Memorial Scholarship was established by her daughter, her brother and sister-in-law, and former employer, CNN, to pay tribute to Betty Zola Murdock, following her death, February 2, 1998. The scholarship supports students who like Mrs. Murdock once was, are single mothers pursuing a degree at KSU.
Selection Criteria:
- full or part time enrollment
- graduate/undergraduate
- single mothers
- 2.5 minimum GPA
- students pursuing a B.S. Degree in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences Department of Communication are preferred
