Adult Learner Recognition Ceremony
The ceremony recognizes adult students who have shown success in coping with numerous roles (e.g., work, school, and family), have overcome difficult circumstances to pursue higher education needs, and have taken innovative approaches to reach their goals.
WINGS Ceremony
This ceremony, which is held at the end of each Fall and Spring semester, is an opportunity for graduating students to recognize special supporters who have encouraged and supported them through their college years. Adult Learner Information Seminar
New KSU Adult Learners, you are invited to attend a community building
seminar to provide adult learners the opportunity to connect with new and
current students prior to fall and spring semester classes. It will also
relieve common fears by receiving adult learner specific academic resources and
introduce individual and group support for the adult learner such as Adult
Learner Student Organization, Odyssey Peer Mentor Program and the Lifelong

Family Fun Day
Join the KSU Campus Community once each semester for free Saturday entertainment at Family Fun Day! Activities, lunch, and movie, co-sponsored by Kennesaw Activities Board (KAB) and Adult Learner Programs. Special activities, "Playing Your Way Around the World: Education Through Cultural Games," are provided by International Student Association (ISA) and International Student Retention Services. Positive Parenting Strategies
An informal speaker series offered to students, staff, and faculty parents to support the role of parenting. Light lunch with reservations. Contact Adult Learner Programs at 770-423-6701.
Parent-to-Parent Network and Support Group
Open to all KSU student, staff, and faculty parents, this group provides a confidential environment to share parenting issues and successes with others. Group facilitators are KSU Adjunct Professor Mary Migliaro and staff from the Cherokee Child Advocacy Council's Parents HELP program. Parents HELP has been providing education and support for parents for nearly 20 years. Topics will be driven by the interests of the participants. A light lunch will be served to those who make a reservation through the Lifelong Learning Center.
