Childcare Subsidy Program
Funded by Student Activity fees, a limited number of childcare subsidies of $300 per semester are available to accommodate the needs of student parents. A drawing is held at the beginning of the fall semester each year to determine 10 students and 10 alternates. The first 10 names drawn will continue to receive the subsidy for Spring, as long as the supporting enrollment documentation is submitted within the first week of each session. If a student is unable to use the subsidy, an alternate is chosen for the remainder of the academic year.
NOTE: It is the responsibility of the student to locate, secure and pay the daycare facility.
For additional information, please contact Adult Learner Programs in the Lifelong Learning Center, Student Center addition, Room 261. Childcare Subsidy Application Forms will be available in the Lifelong Learning Center during the application period. Fall 2008 information.
