This is a two-part skills development workshop series, designed in collaboration with the Wellness Center, which will offer assistance to students who may have experienced anxiety before, during, or after a test.
Stop Test Stress Physically
The first session of this workshop series addresses the benefits of appropriate exercise, rest and proper eating habits, which will enhance the students' ability to do well on tests. A variety of strategies and individualized suggestions for minimizing stress physically will be given to participants who may have limited mobility.
Stop Test Stress Academically
The second session of this workshop series consists of discovering strategies to combat test anxiety academically. Effective methods of test preparation will be taught. Advance preparedness will be emphasized. Strategies for effective use of memory aids will be demonstrated.
