|Testing Accommodations in Higher Education:|
Complying with the ADA and Section 504
Both the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act require that tests be administered in a manner that does not unlawfuly discriminate against persons based on disability. Whether or not a student has a disability and whether or not that disability requires an accommodation on tests will always be an issue, as it is with any other accommodation. This book includes a section defining the issues, a review of significant court cases, and a profile of the University Of Arizona's Testing Accommodation Program.
