Kennesaw
State University Student Development offers a
variety of innovative programs and activities to
enrich the college experience for minority students,
international students, adult learners and students
with disabilities. In addition, Student Development
provides and avenue for individuals to engage in
volunteer services in the community through
Volunteer KSU.
The Odyssey Peer Mentor Program, also coordinated by
Student Development, assists new students in making
a smooth transition to college life at Kennesaw
State by pairing them with more experienced KSU
students. The program offers social activities,
community service, and an opportunity to develop
leadership skills.
The Parent and Family Association connects family
members to the life of the university through
family-friendly campus events, workshops,
newsletters and e-mail links and special offers.
Student Development offers a variety of workshops,
population-specific orientations and programs.
Students are encouraged to participate in these and
other events that enhance social and academic
connections.
