Academic Advising
It is confusing to know exactly what courses you need to take to
get your degree, so each student has an academic advisor. This person
will help you with questions regarding your educational objectives
and course requirements. We can assist you in locating this person.
As an international student, you must stay in good academic standing.
Also, you must not drop below 12 credit hours per semester in order
to remain a full-time student if you are an undergraduate student.
Graduate students must maintain at least 9 credit hours to remain
in status with INS.
ESL Services
The KSU Department of University
Studies and the ESL
Program provide testing to help determine the level of your
understanding fo the English language. You can visit the ESL Study
and Tutorial Center located in room 442 of the Library on your own
(a self-referral) or an instructor may refer you to get additional
assistance with speaking and/or writing the English language. The
number is 770-423-6377.
