Welcome to
the Global Village, a gathering place for
internationally centered activities, resources,
discussions, and exhibits.
The Village contains study spaces and lab
computers for student use as well as displays
representing the many countries and cultures of
international students. Also the Village is staffed by four student assistants, who are trained and willing to help you with anything you may need. Also, as you can see by the pictures below, the Global Village hosts celebrations as well as studying. You can find most anything you need here with us, and we'd love to have you become part of our family!
A unique feature we offer here in the Global Village is time for socializing and time for studying. Both activities are honored and kept in our space. During most of the day, socializing is going on, however from 3:00pm - 5:30pm, we observe strict quiet hours so that we can be fair to everybody's needs. So come be with us anytime, but also realize that when quiet hours are in effect, you can't talk, have phone calls, make noise -- and this is strictly enforced!
There is also a lending library in the Global Village that houses all kinds of educational movies from around the globe, magazines that will teach and inform, and books for studying tests such as the GRE, LSAT, ACT, etc.
